The contractor is mobilizing for the last bore on MacArthur. There will still be one more bore to get under Sandy Lake to the lift station.
This bore is 1300 feet long and has several curves. Because of the curves, the boring could take longer. After discussing this with the
inspector and the contractor, the following is our estimate of the timeline for the next bore:
pilot hole- 1/24; 1/25; 1/26; 1/27; 1/28; 1/31 & 2/1
24" reamer - 2/3; 2/4; 2/7; 2/8; 2/9; 2/10 & 2/11
36" reamer - 2/14; 2/15; 2/16; 2/17; 2/18; 2/21; 2/22 & 2/23
46" reamer - 2/25; 2/28; 3/1; 3/2; 3/3; 3/4 & 3/7
46" reamer - 3/9; 3/10; 3/11; 3/14; 3/15 & 3/16
36" reamer -3/17; 3/18 & 3/19
pull pipe - week of 3/21.
Note: Because of the curve, the contractor will be boring twice with the 46" reamer.
Schedule could change for the positive if less time is needed for each bore or for the negative if weather becomes a factor.
