Additional Information: 03-15-00 Contractor requested a preliminary inspection of the blast prior to
scheduled inspection on 03-16-00. Surfaces blasted so far include floor and up about four (4) feet on bowl. Some areas
in the ceiling are blasted also. Areas blasted up till now have some existing coatings still on the surface. These areas
need to be blasted again. A Munter's 4500 dehumidifier is on site and running. The interior temperatures reflect this.
Blasted areas do not appear to have any rust bloom present.
03-16-00 Areas presented for inspection today includes the ceiling and rafters on the south half of the tank. Areas
acceptable per SSPC-SP10 include ceiling from center rail out to about five (5) feet above wall painter's rail. Areas on
riser pipe and around roof hatch need additional blast cleaning and will not be coated today. Prior to the airless spray
application of Carboguard 561 blasted areas were blown clean with blast hose air. Airless spray application started at
3:00 p.m.
