Old Townhomes-CS050120COPPELL January 20, 2005 Kurt Jones Carbon Landmark, LLC 1701 N. Collins Blvd Suite 1200 Richardson, TX 75080 RE: Old Coppell Townhomes- Phase 1 Fee Assessment Letter Dear Mr. Jones Enclosed is a copy of the City of Coppell Development Fee Assessment table, along with a copy of the Development Fee calculations for the referenced development. This table has been revised to reflect the actual cost of the two-inch meters used on this project. In accordance with the agreement on impact fees for this project you are being assessed impact fees at the rate of a 3/4" meter, and the cost of the meter is assessed at the actual cost of the two inch meter. Mr. Jack Frost of your organization on Friday January 14, 2005 made payment for the six water meters for the six units constructed under this phase. The employee that would normally collect these fees was not present on that date, so I directed Mr. Frost to pay the full cost, including impact fees, for each meter. I have since discovered that Impact fees for water and wastewater had been collected in the amount of $4,620.00 on September 3, 2004 by our Building Inspections department. The attached table indicates a total impact fee assessment of $4,060.00 for water and waste~vater. With your payment of $3,360.00 in impact fees on Friday you have over paid in the amount of $3,920.00. We have requested our Finance Department refund that amount to your company. Sincerely, Keith R.
