Permanent Water Line Easement / Temporary Construction Easement
Dear Mr. Cummings:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our telephone conversation on June 22, 2004 in which we discussed
the acquisition of a permanent water line easement and a temporary construction easement from your
property. During the course of our conversation, it was noted that while there was not a particular issue
with providing the easements, there was a concern on your part that assurances needed to be provided that
at some point in the future when the property is developed that there would be an opportunity to tap into
the proposed water line. This line is being extended across S.H. 121 to provide water service to property
on the north side of S.H. 121. As such, you would be allowed to tap into the proposed 12" water line in
the future. The tap would be provided at your cost in accordance with city details and specifications.
This letter constitutes a revised offer from the City of Coppell for the acquisition of the easements as
follows:
1 .Acquisition of permanent water line easement at $.88/sq. ft. x 10,709 sq. ft.
2.Acquisition of temporary construction easement at ($.88/sq. ft. x 27,617 sq. ft.) x 5%
3.Ability to tap into the proposed 12" water line in the future at the developer's cost in
accordance with city rules and regulations.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the 3rd quarter of 2004 and we need to acquire the necessary
easements as soon as possible. Enclosed are copies of the easement documents. If the above offer is
acceptable, please sign below and return to this office. Once the letter is received, the process for
payment of the $10,639.07 can start. When the check is ready, we can arrange a mutually agreeable time
to exchange the documents and the check.
