WA0101-ES041116T H E · C I T Y · O F' COPPELL November 16, 2004 Mr. Bryan Thompson 626 Madison Coppell, Texas 75019 S.H. 121 Water Line WA01-01 Permanent Water Line Easement Dear Mr. Thompson: The City of Coppell is in the process of obtaining easements necessary to construct the S.H. 121 Water Line Project. The proposed 12-inch water line will connect the existing water line at the intersection of Coppell Roa&/S.H. 121 with the existing water line at the intersection of Denton Tap/S.H. 121. This segment of water line was identified in the Water System Master Plan as a needed improvement. As part of the project, we are proposing to connect the existing 8-inch water line located in the Magnolia Park Subdivision with the new 12-inch v, ater line. The 8-inch water line currently ties into the 16-inch water line located along Denton Tap and dead-ends into the subdivision. This new connection will provide two service feeds into the subdivision and should also provide better water circulation. It will be necessary to obtain a 20-foot permanent water line easement on properly that ~s owned by the Magnolia Park Co. Ltd. in order to connect the 8- and 12-inch water lines. A copy of the easement documents is enclosed for your information. The design plans are 95% complete and the city needs to obtain the easement so that construction can start in the 1~t quarter of 2005. Should you have any questions or if you wish to view the construction plans, please contact me or Suzan Taylor at 972-304-7019. Your consideration of this matter is appreciated.
