RE: Sandy Lake Road Project #ST 93-01 (MaeArthur Blvd. to east city limits)
Parcels 19 & 19SE, 21-1, 21-1 SE, 21-2, 21-2 SE
Dear Mr. Gray:
This letter is written as a follow-up to my September 6, 2002 letter in which I provided Sheet 4 of 6 of the
Right-of-way Map and Sheets 19, 20, 21, 42, 43, 49, 77, 78, 79, and 80 of the Construction Plans. Sheets 19,
20 and 21 are the Paving Plan and Profile Sheets. The TXU property generally starts around Station 45+50
and ends at approximately Station 49+50. In between the TXU property, on the north side, is another parcel
owned by Terra Corporation Joint Venture. Sheets 42 and 43 are the Storm Drain Plans that show proposed
lateral 1-10 with an inlet adjacent to the TXU property. Sheet 49 shows the profile of Lateral 1-10. Sheets 77
through 80 show the cross-section of the roadway from Station 45+00 to Station 50+00. On the cross-
sections the north side of the roadway is the let,-hand side of the page.
As I stated in previous letters, the roadway will be elevated approximately four to five feet in this general
area. Therefore, in addition to the fight-of-way, slope easements are necessary to grade the fill back to
natural ground. The sloping will be performed on approximately a 4 to 1 slope for ease of maintenance. The
slope easements are not filed with the county but are only held with the City until completion of the project.
At that time they cease to exist.
Our goal is still to bid this project in June 2002. Therefore, any help you can provide in expediting the
processing of the documents for the dedication of the fight-of-way and slope easement will be greatly
appreciated, if you should have any questions or need additional informati°n please feel free t° c°ntact me'
Sincerely, /Q
