Dear Mr. Griffin,
Hanson Concrete Pipe Products needs to know the type of pipe, United Pipe supplied at the
connection point of the new Coppeli 30" and the laying direction. If the installation plans can
be located, it would be very helpful. We have exposed the existing pipe but due to the short
connection time we need to be sure.
The valve supplier (ACT) called me yesterday and said ~ would be unable to deliver the 30"
butted~ valves until end of April. One of these valves has been on order for three montl~s. The
other was ordered when we received approval on the Coppell Extension.
I called everyone ! could think of and have been unable to locate a Coppell approved valve with
an epoxy coating. Pratt Valves has a 30" butterfly vane with a standard NSF 61 (Asphalt) coating
that is for potable water. This valve is in stock and can be delivered within two weeks.
