RE: Sandy Lake Road Project (MacArthur Blvd. to east city limits) #ST 93-01 / Parcels 16 & 16DE
Dear Mr. Witte:
This letter is written as a follow-up to my August 16, 2002 letter and numerous telephone calls
concerning the acquisition of right-of-way and a drainage easement from the City of Carrollton for
the constxuction and improvements related to the Sandy Lake Road project from MacArthur Blvd.
to the City of Coppell east city limits line. Several attempts have been made to contact the attorney
for the City of Carrollton with no success. Most recently, I left a detailed voice mail for Clayton
Hutchins, City Attorney, on December 17, 2002 at 10:45 a.m. As I have previously stated, I have
concerns with some changes requested by the Carrollton city attorney.
We have sold monies for the construction of this project with the intent of going out for bids in June
2003. The right-of-way from the City of Carrollton is one of four remaining right-of-way parcels to
be obtained by the City of Coppell. Therefore, any assistance you can provide in expediting the
dedication of the right-of-way and drainage easement to the City of Coppell for the construction of
Sandy Lake Road will be greatly appreciated.
If you should have any questions or need additional information conceming this project please feel
free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
