The City is continuing to pursue the acquisition of the right-of-way with hopes of starting this project in the fall/winter 1997. I have reviewed the corner clips and in lieu of trying to assign a per square foot value to the landscape easements, the City of Coppell is willing to offer a set amount for each corner clip in hopes of acquiring them without going through any other processes that involves appraisers or attorneys. Therefore, the City of Coppell is willing to otter a set amount of $500 for each corner clip. If this is acceptable to you please sign below and return a signed copy of the letter. Once I have received the letter, I will start the process for payment of the $500 for the corner clip. Once the check has been processed we can arrange a mutually agreeable time to meet to notarize the document in exchange for the check. Again, if you are agreeable to the lump sum price of $500 for the corner clip please sign below and return to this office.
