Dear Mr. Ahlbrand:
On July 3, 2001, the City of Coppell received information that Amwest Surety Insurance
Company and its subsidiary, Far West Insurance Company, had become the subject of an
Order of Liquidation, Insolvency and Injunction and that all policies, bonds and non-
cancellable business has been cancelled. The notice indicated that all bonds and policies would
cease to be in effect as of July 6, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
Our records show that the bonding that you provided to the City of Coppell is through this
company, therefore, you should immediately provide additional bonding to the City of Coppell
to complete the remainder of the two-year maintenance period for the project listed below:
IAAM, Lot 1, Block 1 Expires 2/2/2003

Final Acceptance
Dear Mr. Ahlbrand:
A f'mal inspection of paving and utilities for the referenced project has been confuxned by
representatives of the City of Coppell.
The two-year maintenance bonds and as-built drawings have been received fi-om the contractor.
Maturity on the bonds will be two years from the date of this letter. Maturity on the Erosion
Control Bond will also be two years fi-om the date of this letter.
