MasTec North America. Inc. will shorten this bore t?mn~ 1300' to 802' ;and move tile bore
rig north. This will move thc bore rig and associated equipment away from the area it is
in now and away IYom the residents that arc complaining about the sound/vibration
· issues. We will still need to have a rccycler at thc same location it is at now (39+71). By
shorlening this bore we will also be ~hortening thc Icnglh el' time spent at this locatkm.
Also, by moving north and shorlening this bore wc wJ}l not be aft~cting the crosswalk at
l,~}gtma.
MasTec North America, Inc. is requesting that thc City of Coppell work on closing
Parkway Blvd. during the week to pull pipe on this bore. This will allow MasTec North
America, lnc, lo pull pipe ripen completion of the bore and n.t have to wait for
weekends. If Parkway Bird cannot be closed during the week and MasTec North
America. Inc. has to wait fi'n- a weekend this will Icud to additional cost in downtime.
Mas'lee North America, Inc. is also requesting that the Ch? ,~1' Coppell ctmsider
shallowing the remaining bores where possible to expedite this proiect.
