For some time now there have been meetings concerning the lowering of a portion of the City of Dallas' 30" water line that supplies the Town of Flower Mound. The lowering of that water line is critical for the continuation of the Sandy Lake Road project. At our monthly meeting on January 18, 2000, it was mentioned that the lowering of the water line should be expedited because of the dry winter and possibly because at some point Dallas might not allow the shutting off of the 30" water line for the lowering. To insure that the water line project stays on track as well as the Sandy Lake Road construction project, you have been asked to contact the City of Dallas Water Utilities Department to inquire as to how the Volunteer Conservation Plan will impact your ability to lower the Dallas water line. You are also asked to expeditiously begin the lowering of the Dallas water line. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, Kenneth M.
