I talked to Steve last night and they are having some "concerns" over the drilling. Guess it's right up where their house is and Steve says it is a continual minor earth quake. Neighbors are complaining about the vibration, removing all articles from shelves, pictures are falling, tiles are falling, etc. they are worried about foundation damage and neighbors are of course talking about lawsuits. Steve himself is going to have an engineer come out and look at theirs and honestly I don't blame him. I told him I knew about noise and mud, but hadn't heard of vibration being a part of the hazards, but would look into it. They are also concerned in the neighborhood that the machine operator told them they are drilling north or south now and have been there 3 weeks and then when they finish whenever that is they will just turn the rig around and drill the other direction they aren't going now. Somehow I was led to believe they drill out for a few weeks pick up and move to the next 150 feet or whatever the distance was. This method of setting up in once place and drilling one direction then the other subjects the location to a long disruption. Jim is checking with ken on the vibration issue and the drilling from one place and will get back to me. Wanted you to know. These are two of the nicest people I've ever met in Coppell and I hate to see this issue come up with them. I'll update you. Douglas N.
