Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Beltibne Rd. Project ST 93 -04 Dear Ken: I've only just received comments and mark ups for the slope easement requested by Dallas County and Coppell for the reconstruction of Beltline Rd. in front of our location at 200 E. Beldine Rd. Pete Hennessey, of Hennessey Engineering, is recommending a minim vertical curve of 25' length for the transition from new paving to existing driveway paving for optimal truck access. Additionally, he suggests that the easement grant additional temporary work space for construction of the driveway transition. As we have already signed and returned the easement to you, Pm not sure how to proceed at this point. Please review the attached information and then contact me regarding same. I'll be out of town until March 27th, so will look forward to visiting with you, at your convenience, when I return. Thank you, thy Ingle May-14-00 Pet '-iennessey 9 - 245. 7087 P.01 HENNES SEY ENGINEERING, INC. 1417 W. Beltline Rd. - Shake and Shingle #9907.09 Phone: 972 393 0227 Fax: 972 462 9518 Dear Mrs Ingle . A Civil Engin6ering review was performed on the entrance drives to the Shake and Shingle Property between road stations 12 +00 and 16 +00 along the north right of way line. The existing grade of Beltline road was originally at a higher elevation than the Shake and Shingle property. The proposed Beltline pavement is lowered two to three feet from the original condition which necessitates an upwards ramp to the Shake and Shingle property then a slope downwards along the existing drives. The location and slope of the access drive is shown on plan view at station 13 +61.46 and on cross section view at station 13+59.41. To ease the transition of grade change for large trucks, a minimum vertical curve of 25' length should be designed for the transition from new paving to existing driveway paving;at the truck access. The enclosed mark ups show the general location of the vertical curve. The easement document should grant additional temporary work space for construction of the driveway transition.
