Work shall be in accordance with all applicable TxDOT Specifications and Drawings). On the Portable Concrete Barriers we stated that: Work shall be in compliance with TxDOT Specifications Item 512 and Drawing PCTB (1&2) - 02. We included some of the major points from the TxDOT Item in our pay item description, but we did not include the full item description. We prepared those specifications in-house, so I would follow them. >>> "Sam Meisner" <sam@freese.cem> 1/24/2005 5:33:56 PM >>> Suzan, The designs of the bridge and the traffic signals both follow TxDOT standards and are not covered under the NCTCOG specifications. We have a couple questions about how we should reference those in the plans and specs. Please let me know how the City would prefer us to reference these standards. · We plan to use TxDOT standard specs for the bridge construction. I have a note on the bridge referring all bridge construction to TxDOT standard spec. Is this note good enough without including the TxDOT sections in the project spec.? · If we do need to include TxDOT sections in the project spec, do we include the full section of the TxDOT spec. or just list the item number with title on index? · Do you need full description for each TxDOT pay item or just item No. with title?
