Finance received a check from Dallas County in the amount of $47,807.36. This is the difference between the
construction bid of $175,547 and the actual construction cost of $127,739.64.
The city still has outstanding design services and fees with the firm of Pacheco Koch. We have paid PK
$15,566.24 in fees to date. This leaves a balance of $2183.76. We have $1250 left in construction phase
services, $500 left in record drawings, and $433.76 left in reimbursable services. Construction services and
record drawings are lump sum amounts, however we may not use all of the reimbursable services. I also do not
know the final cost for the construction materials testing. The city placed $101,436 in an escrow account based
on design fees of $17,750 and CMT of $2455.
The remaining invoices will need to be submitted to the county for reimbursement.
