100% Plans and Specifications
Dear Ms. Taylor:
We are enclosing two sets each of final construction plans and specifications for the S.H. 121 Water Line
project from North Coppell Road to Denton Tap Road (Project WA 01-01). We have made the
modifications recommended by the City and believe that this project is ready for advertisement commencing
Friday February 25, 2005.
We have also included our Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. As you will notice, we have included a
contingency item for the potential relocation of Grande Communications' fiber optic cable between Sta.
36+25 and 37+00. Although we contacted Grande earlier in the plans preparation phase, we do not have a
formal proposal for relocation costs associated with this portion of the project. At this time we are
estimating $100.00 per linear foot.
Please review these documents and advise if there are any issues requiring our immediate attention. We are
ready to send the originals for copying on Thursday so that plan sets will be available on Monday morning.
