I forwarded this to Laurie Marshall in Code Enfomement. She handles these types of complaints with
trees from private property overhanging streets & sidewalks.

I am a board member of the Oakbend Additions Estates subdivision. We have
many homes that have trees that do not meet the clearance restrictions over
our sidewalks and roads. I believe I once read that this restrictions were
7 feet over the sidewalk and 12 feet over the road, AJthough I cannot
locate that information on the web site currently. If you could send me a
link to that location I would be grateful.
The bottom line is we would like to have the city come and place notices on
the properties that are not in compliance. How do I go about having this
done? Do you need a listing of the properties?
