Construction Materials Testing
Dear Mr. Gee:
Enclosed please find a set of plans and specifications for the above referenced project.
The project consists of the installation of +7900 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water line by
open cut with embedment, and -+800 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water line in steel
encasement by boring. The project is scheduled for the April 12, 2005 City Council
meeting for consideration of a construction award.
Please provide an estimate of the type and number of construction materials tests required
for the project based on the construction plans and the City's standards, and submit a
proposal for the testing. The contractor is responsible for payment of materials testing
done before 8:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m., and for any re-testing.
