I) WORK HOURS
MONDAY- FRIDAY (8 5)
SATURDAY - SUNDAY (9 - 5)
NO HOLIDAY WORK
WORK MUST PERFORMED BETWEEN 9A - 2P in School Zones.
II ) Please use caution with "Noise Issues". Coppell has a very strict ordinance
concerning noise. Please present a neighborly and courteous attitude toward customers

ill ) Weekend work consists of setting Boxes. It must be performed with a COPPELL
INSPECTOR ON SITE ($40.00 per hr.) No Lane closures on Saturday
When weekend work is necessary, permission is required and the request must be faxed
to Larry on Wednesday before work is performed on Saturday. Should the weekend
request be Cancelled, Larry must be notified via fax before 3:00 pm on Friday. The
information that is to be faxed to Larry is I) name of person performing the work 2) the
location of the work 3) the type of xvork to be performed.
IV) CONCERNS
A) BROKEN WATER LINES - Notify Danny Hightower at 972/462-5150.
Leave a message. The party damaging a water line will be responsible for repairing
After it is repaired it may not be covered until it has been inspected by Danny. Danny
also will supply to material needed to make the repair.
B) BROKEN GAS LINES - Call 9 l I, first.
It is the responsibility of the group that damaged the gas line to restore it, after the gas
company repairs it, regardless of locating errors.
C) D1TCI~S AND HOLES - Must be square fenced, not coned.
D) STREET
I) CUTS - There will be no s~reet cuts unless a separate permit is obtained
and approved.
2) HOLES next to concrete or asphalt left open must be pumped daily,
until filled.
3 ) TARP all streets prior to placing digs.
E) TRASH - Do not dump used material or trash at any site other than a pre:
approved site by KLAASMEYER.
F) WATER METERS Please obtain a water meter from the City of Coppell, at
816 S. Coppell, by making a $1,000.00 deposit, where needed. These are to be used on
YELLOW fire hydrants, only.
G) F1RE HYDRANTS - Upon opening a fire hydrant, use only a "fire hydrant
twench", open all the way at one time to prevent "leaking weep holes". Wrenches are
available at Ferguson's in Lewisville, TX.
I--I') IRRIGATION - When broken lines occur, always ask the customer to" turn
on" in order to check for leaks prior to leaving area and to establish joint witness, contact
with the customer. ~

3) Irrigation IS maintained by Home Owners, Home O,3mers association
(list w/Il be provided), City, or Company. Please contact proper group for authorization.

To facilitate erosion control areas must be fenced when needed.
J) CITY PERMITS
A COPY OF THE CITY PERMIT, must be obtained by each job site by
the in charge foreman

A) TRAFFIC CONTROL
I ) When lane is broken must have a sign board When major traffic flow
is interrupted and lane is to be closed, use sign board and the work must be performed
between 9a and 330p.
2) When necessary use flag man
3) Use caution around School and observe "9-2" rule
4) GASLINE cuts call "911", get "Fire Department" notified first belbre
contacting the Gas Company.

c) Use Fencing around

RULES & REGULATIONS - COPPELL, TEXAS
Work Hours
M-F 8am-Spm
Sat 9am - 5pm
1) All crews must have a copy of permits(s) & prints
2) All crews must have signs, cones & other safety equipment.
3) No rigs are to be parked in the streets or roads Monday through
Saturday.
4) All equipment (i.e.; track hoes, bore rigs, trailers, backi~oes, compressors,
etc.) must be brought hack to the Lewisville office daily.
5) Rigs must always be on plywood when you are in somebody's yard to
bore or for bore crossing.
6) No dirt is to be left on the street at any time. All dirt must be put on
plywood or placed on a tarp.
7) All potholes MUST BE FENCED. This means a stake at all 4 corners.
8) Anytime utilities are hit, contact supervisor, then the ranch office.
Anytime gas is damaged call 911 and then the supervisor.
9) Accident report forms must be filled out for every reported hit and
turned in within 24 hours Lewisville office.
10) All sub-contractors working for Klaasmeyer Construction must have
Klaasmeyer signs displayed on vehicles.
11) When you must work on a state hiway, always adhere to proper traffic
signs.
