Dear Mr. Griffin:
We have completed the traffic signal study at the above location. Based on this
study and our field investigation, we concur with the City of Coppell's request to
install a traffic signal. After discussion with the Cities of Irving and Coppell, it is
our understanding that the City of Irving has agreed to maintain and operate the
signal at this intersection.
Attached is a signed Traffic Signal Authorization Form for this traffic signal
installation. This authorization will allow TxDOT to proceed with the design and
construction of traffic signals at this location. Additionally, enclosed for your
information is a copy of the Traffic Signal Warrant Study.
