Dear Charlene:
Please find attached thirteen sets of revised plans for the referenced project. Three sets are intended for
the City's use. The remaining sets are intended for developer, project manager, contractor and me.
Listed below are the responses to the comments in your letter dated March 11, 2005.
Comments:
Items 1-4: Done.
Item 5: Our rock riprap extends across the entire width of the channel bottom. The velocities are
a little high, though not excessive. These facts, combined with the anticipation that the
channel will have water running through it during larger rainfall events, makes us feel
comfortable the velocities will be properly attenuated.
Item 6: According to calculations provided by Hanson Concrete Pipe Products, one-half foot of
cover for the 39" RCP and one foot of cover for the 18" RCP fall well within the
structural tolerances for Class III RCP.
Item 7: Done.
We trust the attached plans are sufficient to secure approval of our construction plans and allow us to
schedule a pre-construction meeting. Please let me know if there are any questions.
