Can-Fer is not shut down because of Mastec, Can-Fer's work is slowed because the pit shoring failed. My
observations are that Can-Fer is working, but only to fill in the pit to secure it and to repair the electric service to the
lift station. Mastec is scheduled to pull pipe on Friday. But, again, Mastec is not currently impeding the work of
Can-Fer. The pit failure is impeding the work.
Also, under whose authorization was Can-Fer working last night???? Can-Fer was not authorized to work all night,
they were only authorized to secure the existing service pole in anticipation of TXU transferring the service to a new
pole today. Yes, we have received complaints about the work last night.
Just so we are clear in the future under no circumstance is Can-fer authorized to work at night.
The only exception would be if I provide you written approval, signed by me, and your request is
made in advance so surrounding citizens can be notified.
Please provide me written notification that you understand this email so there is no misunderstandings in the future.

We were told that Mastec would be complete with the boring on March 20, 2005 and they are still not completed and Can-Fer
Construction is still shut down until Mastec is pulled off our site. Do you have any idea we Mastec will be complete?
