Per your request, we have evaluated the need for detention at the proposed parking lot
addition at the Riverside Church of Christ on North Lake Drive in Coppell. Per plans
prepared by Michael Peeples Engineers for the Riverside Church of Christ obtained at the
City of Coppoll, the drainage areas for the proposed parking addition, as well as the rest
of the Church' s property, were designed for the 100-year rainfall event with a 0.7 C-
factor and a 10-minute time of concentration, which corresponds to a 11.6 in/hr rainfall
intensity. Due to this fact, we are of the opinion that detention is not warranted on this
site. Is this acceptable?
