We have received information through our Assistant City Attorney's office that your counsel has
advised DWU to hold final processing of the ILA until the project is advertised and copy of the
bid is received.
This rUns contrary to the draft of the ILA that we are currently processing, specificallY regarding
advance funding.
We tried to reach you by phone yesterday to inform you about the situation. For your
information Lee Allison has contacted us and is sending plans for DWU review and has
requested a design meeting with our staff on May 19, 1998, 10:30 AM at Oak Cliff Municipal
Center.
We will appreciate your immediate response on this.matter. According to the latest information
received from your office, Coppell intends to advertise this project in June, 1998. DWU will
require approximately eight weeks after receipt of bids in obtaining Council approval for the
ILA and funding.
