I'll pass this information along to the community via our email distribution list and our website. It certainly is a pleasure living in a city where the city works with the residents as welt as Coppell, I've lived in the city about 7 years and just about all of my dealings with the City of Coppell have been positive, It makes paying the property tax bill I just received a whole lot easier. Again, thanks for your timely action. Richard Ching 425 Waterview Dr. Coppell, TX 75019 ..... Forwarded by Richard M.L. ChinglAccountinglNationallEYLLPIUS on 10/08/2004 01:58 PM ..... Original Message From: Keith Marvin [mailto:kmarvJn@ci.coppell.tx.us] Sent: Friday, October 08, 2004 1:32 PM To: richardching@comcast.net Subject: Verizon work in Vistas of Coppell Mr. Ching, I was forwarded your email concerning the work taking place within your subdivision. The work is being done by a contractor on behalf of Verizon. As I understand it, this project will improve the speed and quality of communications and internet service that verizon provides within the city of CoppelL The contractor was required to make contact with the HOA president of each subdivision, and to leave informational door hangers at each residence prior to beginning any work. In this case it appears that they failed to get that information to you. I personally met with the gentleman responsible for this project on your street this afternoon. I shared your complaint with him and I expressed that they are to ensure compliance with the notification requirements. The gentlemen's name is John Repp, and his cell phone number is 214-808-9693. He assured me that they would clean up the mess in the area by the end of the day, and that when they came back on Monday the construction would proceed in the same fashion that it is taking place in the Magnolia Park subdivision. If you see any additional problems feel free to call Mr. Repp directly, or as always you may let me know and I will see that they are corrected. If I can Provide any additional information, please feel free to call. Keith R. Marvin, P.E.
