FTTP-CS040901From: To: Date: Subject: Keith Marvin Michael, John 9/1/2004 10:39:06 AM Re: Sample permit drawing & city directive John, The city has no minimum size for bores across the street. If a two inch conduit is all you require, that works for us. The only requirement would be that the conduit and/or grout fill the entire void created by the boring machine. In other words, if you are using a 4 inch drilling machine and simply pushing a 2 inch conduit, that is not acceptable. We have completed the review of the sample permit application. It is currently being typed by the secretary, and should be available this afternoon to be picked up. Let me know if you need any additional information. Keith R. Marvin, P.E. Was this directive given by the city just recently or was it in conjunction with the meeting a couple of weeks ago. The city of Coppell does not want us to show 4" pvC:for bores, just show 1.9 O.D. pipe. Please make the necessary adjustments when permitting for the Lewisville South projects. Is your review of the sample permit drawing submitted last week complete. If so, please advise and I'll come by to pick up the drawing and your comments this morning.
