As proposed in my March 13, 1998 letter, the proposed water main adjustments~ for the
Sandy Lake Road paving project we discussed in our March 12 meeting havre been
reviewed with the Assistant Director-Capital Improvements. Based on our meeting and
subsequent discussion between Dallas and Coppell's engineers, the number qf water
main lowerings is 8 for a total length of approximately 3,780 feet. These prOposed
adjustments are acceptable to the Water Utilities Department.
The next :step will be to flnaiizethe interlocal agreement.,for thec0nstruction ~oject. As
discussed, the steps necessary to submit the-agreement for:Dallas City ,Council action
are proceeding immediately. We ~vill confirm the City Council meeting date,.with you as
soon as possible.
