As proposed in my March 13, 1998 letter, the proposed water main ecijustmeqts for the
Sandy Lake Road paving project we disc, us#ed in our March 12 meeting h~lv:e ~
reviewed with the Assistant Director-Capital Improvements. Based on our meeting ariel
subsequent discussion between Dallas and CoPpeli's engineers, the numbe~ of water
main lowerings is 8 for a total length of appro~ly 3,780 feel 'R'tese proposed
adjustments are acceptable to the Water Utilities Department.
The next step will be to finalize the tnterlocal agreement for the const~on pm!act. As
discussed, the steps necessary to submit the agreement for Dallas City Couqcil action
are proceeding immediately. Wa will confirm the City Council meeting date with you as
soon as possible.
I sincerely regret the inconvenience that the City of Coppell has experienced with this
project, and I appreciate the willingness you and your staff have shown to resolve the
