The City' of Coppell will be accepting bids on the referenced project prior to April 26, 2005, at 2:00
pm., at which time they wilI be publicly opened and read.
The Scope of Work is generally as follows:
This work shall consist of crosswalk improvements m various intersections located along
MacArthur Boulevard. The project can be bid as Stamped Concrete Pavement (Alternate 'A')
or as Stamped Asphah Pavement (Alternate 'B'). The City reserves the right to a',vard
project as either stamped concrete or stamped asphalt, regardless of price.
Alternate 'A' shall consist of the removal of the existing brick pavers and underlydng concrete
pavement and the installation of 8" concrete pavement and 8" stamped concrete pavement. The
work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of base material, and traffic control.
Ahemate 'B' shall consist of the removal of the existing brick pavers and under134ng concrete
pax ement and the installation orS" concrete pavement and 2" stamped asphah pavement The
work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of 4" of HMAC Type "B" binder course,
base material, and traffic control
