The City of Coppell has designed the above-captioned project that includes widening a portion of
roadway in which your company may have existing facilities. We anticipate putting the project
out for bids in the second quarter of 2005.
This work will consist of the construction of a third southbound lane of traffic along MacArthur
Boulevard f~om the intersection of Bethel School Road south to approximately 430 feet north of
Belt Line Road, and encompassing 1,950 linear feet. The project will also include subsidiary
work such as relocation of streetlights, reconstruction of median irrigation systems and all other
components necessary for the construction of the project as shown in the plans included with this
letter.
Please review and mark-up the enclosed set of plans with your utility locations (if any) and
resubmit them back to the City of Coppell Engineering Department with any comments as soon
as possible. Also, please comment as to any precautions that should be taken to protect your
utilities. If your company has no facilities in the area, please indicate so on this letter and return
it to my attention.
