The following is our understanding of the subject matter covered dut~ng the subject meeting.
If this differs from your understanding, please notify us within five working days.
· Power poles on east side of road, south of Parkway are conflicting with the bike trail
alignment. Mike and Larry want Brad w/City of Coppell to verify new trail alignment.
® GTE still needs to adjust manholes at drives and one between The Mansions and
Westminster. Also, two manholes on west side of road near Canyon Drive seem to be too
high for ADA ramp. Mike said he would look at the manhole situation on a site visit on
9/15.
Lin-fy had a concern about some of the fire hydrants, and Gary said K&S will be
fixing/adjusting the fire hydrants.
· Box culvetm is about 90-95% complete, and EB should finish within the next 2 weeks,
according to Gary. EB had to re-pour the wing-wall on the west side, and are finishing up
the wing-wall and the rip-rap placement.
· EB had a question about the hand rail coordination with the wing-wall. Alan Greer and Mike
Martin agreed to build it p~r Sheet SD-9, up next to the wall.
· EB wanted tO make the road north of Parkway two-way, but Mike and Larry agreed that it
should stay one-way until the other half of the road is poured.
· Fi3 wants to remove and excavate The Mansion's drive all at one time. This should take one

day only, and the north entrance can be utilized during the excavation, Mike agreed to this,
and thc representative for The Mansion's will be contacted.
® EB also asked to completely close Westminster drive to finish it out all at once. Mike said
he would also prefer that, but he needed to ask the fire department about access issues to the
residences.
· Gary is having problems getting in contact with Tony Martin of The Mansion's over the
stamped concrete sections. Larry and Mike will help contact Tony for coordination issues
of the drive entrance.
® There are concerns on west side of road near Sandy Lake about backffil at back-of-curb,
which seems to be causing water pockets to form.
· On east side of asphalt transition near Sandy Lake, there is no defined channel for drainage
to existing ~torm drain, ]~l} claiw.~ thcrc wa~ not a "wcll-dcfmcd" channel before
construction and has concerns about grading issues for a channel in that area. Mike and
Larry wcrc to asse.~s thc situation on a sit~ visit on 9-15-00.
· According to EB, backfill for the east side of the roadway, n~ar the south end, will bc done
during the bike trail construction. Excavation for the bike trail was scheduled to begin on
9-18-00.
· The irrigation in thc area of the bike trail will need to b~ totally replaced and repaired due to
disturbance by the new trail. There is approximately 200+ sprinkler heads in the area, which
will need to b~ replaced.
· City has made EB aware that the placement and construction of the hand rail near the box
culvert was not in the project schedule.
· City asked that EB maintain signage in roadway, and that asphalt areas be kept up and
repaired to prevent water ponding in roadway.
