The proposed water line will cross a Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) corridor and the city is requesting a license to use this corridor. There is an existing 8-inch water line within the corridor (DART License Agreement No. 950804) that will be taken out of service upon completion of the 16-inch water line. Enclosed are a completed application form and engineering plans for your review and approval of a license agreement, along with a $600.00 application fee. Other uses, compatible with current and future transit and freight railroad use may be allowed depending on the proposed use, the impact on current or future uses, and the income generated. The following information must be submitted for review: 1. A letter from the owner(s) or their representative requesting a license to use the corridor. 2. The attached completed Application Form. 3. Engineering plans and plat showing the proposed license area including dimensions, profile and he-ins to physical features on the ground (i.e. centerline of roadway, DART right of way lines, end of a bridge or culvert, etc.). 4. A $600.00 non-refundable application fee. 5. Other items that may be requested during the review process include: · Written concurrence from all abutting owners. · Copies of recorded deeds showing current ownership of all property contiguous to the area proposed to be licensed. 6.
