We are m receipt of your proposal t
from Sta. 1L+20 to 13+60 on Sheet 5 of the plans", dated May 19, 2005 from Fox C~ntractors, outlining a
request t~ssubstitute~40 EF of directional bore with HDPE pipe for the specified 130 LF of dry bore and 110
LF of open cut with PVC pipe at the Denton Creek crossing.
The City is willing to entertain this option for a field change in accordance with the following information as
provided in your proposal:
1. The total cost of the 240 LF of HDPE installation will not exceed the contract value of the 130 LF of
dry bore plus 110 LF of open cut. ~
2. The HDPE pipe will have no steel casing.
3. The HDPE material will be 14" IPS SDR-9 with an ID of approximately 10.70i inches.
4. The MJ adaptor ldt will connect the 12" PVC to the 14" HDPE.
Based on these conditions, you may proceed with the field change. Please mark you field drawings to reflect
this change so that the n be accurate.
