A. One bulk soil sample was obtained by SE&T on 5/10/05 from 1 separate location. This sample was obtained
from the proposed fill material for foundation and tested for its Unified Soil Classification Symbol (USCS) in accordance
with ASTM- D2487 and Liquid Limit (LL) & Plasticity Index (PI) in-accordance with ASTM - D4318.
B. The following result was obtained:

for foundation. CLAY with some/much fine sand
Based on the above test results, the PI of the tested fill is 18%. This PI meets/exceeds the maximum allowed PI of 20%
by SE&T. Therefore, the Pi of the proposed fill materials for foundation is satisfactory.
