SH 121 Water Line

May 26, 2005
We have met on site on Friday May 20 and Wednesday May 25 to review the location of the proposed water
line and it's proximity to the Grande Communications fiber optic cable in the vicinity of Station 36+00 to
37+00 at the reference project site. At these site meetings the following personnel were in attendance:

Based on conversations with TxDOT and the City of Coppell, it has been agreed to install the line in this
location by open cut and place it approximately 3-feet back of and parallel to the SH121 service road curb.
The line shall be laid over the top of the existing box culvert with the flow line being 0.5 feet above the top of
culvert. The line shall be encased in flowable fill to a cover of 2-feet above the top of the water line. The
existing ground shall be restored. This change will eliminate the blow off valve and relocate the air release
valve. The attached layout sheet indicates the intention of this field change.
Based on this information you may proceed with the field change. Please mark your field drawings to reflect
this change so that the "record" drawings can be accurate.
