In regards to the W. Sandy Lake Rd. project, I have resurveyed the line to
be moved to the North side of Sandy Lake Rd. as requested by Ken. This
design includes underground in front of the substation until the line gets
past the 1st transmission tower, then the line becomes overhead on the
North side and then transfers over to the South side with the 1 st pole on
the South side just past State St. I will also need to place one pole in
front of the church to continue their service. This design has been
submitted to TXU's transmission department for review and approval. If
transmission approves the design, then I will complete the design and order
concrete poles that will be required. I stated "if transmission approves
the design" because I do not know if they will approve my proposed route.
All I can do at this point is submit my request and see if it is accepted.
Once I hear back from transmission, I will let you know if the route was
approved or denied and what our next step will need to be.
