I talked with the inspector Garreth Carrrpbell, who was over the construction of the 15-tach sewer line.
(I think that you worked with him on the widening of Bethel School Road) He said that we need to
verify the elevation of the sewer line on the west side of Denton Tap before we can detenmne what
needs to be done. If the elevations work, we can go back and connect the two manholes on the east
side. If the elevations do not work, we may have to bore under the roadway with a new sewer line.
The city engineer is out of the office until the first week in July, so I am not sure how the sewer line
work will be handled. The work may be included in the scope of the Denton Tap water line project.
The plans and specifications for the water line project are essentially complete - we are waiting on your
consent to enter your property for a bore before we final the plans and start advertising. I am attaching
a Letter of perrmssion to enter your property to locate the sewer line. If you want to sign and fax it
back I will let Garreth know that he can get started. Thanks for your help.

LETTER OF PERMISSION
That EDWARD EUGENE GAl)DY, the undersigned, does hereby grant to the
City of Coppell or its employees, engineers, or contractors, permission to enter the
property owned or controlled by it, being further described as a 1.3029 acre parcel
located at 881 S. Denton Tap Road for the purpose of exposing and verifying the
elevation of an 8-inch sewer line that was constructed as part of the Belt Line Road -
Drainage Project (ST 85-05B). This Letter of Permission includes the right to move
equipment onto the property that is necessary to expose the 8-inch sewer line and the
right of reasonable ingress and egress across the property for the construction purposes.
The City of Coppell will also restore the land back to its original condition to the
maximum extent practicable. Where sod, shrubbery, and plants are removed during the
construction, such areas will have the same sod, shrubbery, and plants replaced in their
prior positions.
