CITY OF COPPELL Engineering Department 255 Parkway Boulevard Coppell, Texas 75019 June 23, 2005 PK No.: 1628-05.034 Re: PARK WEST COMMERCE CENTER Request for Variance on Pavement Design Coppell, Texas Dear Mr. Marvin: On behalf of Majestic Realty Company, we request that the City of Coppell grant a variance to the Subdivision Ordinance on the pavement design criteria for Lot 2R-3, Block 2, Park West Commerce Center. Majestic Realty Company wishes to eliminate the use of lime stabilization on this project in order to save on cost associated with the pavement. In lieu of lime stabilization Majestic Realty Company will increase the concrete strength from 3600 psi to 4000 psi within the public right-of-way, and increase the thickness by one inch. Included with this request is a letter from the Geotechnical Engineer stating that this will be an equivalent pavement section. Thank you, for your consideration on this matter.
