Dear Resident:
Soon Klaasmeyer crews will begin construction within your subdivision. As a Project Manager
for Klaasmeyer, it is my responsibility to work safely and efficiently, assuring residents minimal
disruption. However, due to the nature ofthe business, I realize you may have questions or may
have a concern within your immediate area. Please do not hesitate to contact us when a question
or problem arises.
Please allow me to address two common problems and offer you a path to a solution.
Access is blocked by construction crews.
This problem is most prevalent where our crews need to construct lines in alleys. Crews
are instructed to move equipment and personnel if they are aware that a resident requires
access to their home or egress from the same. If possible speak with a Kiaasmeyer crew
member on site and request access. If you are not comfortable speaking with an
individual, please use one of the contact numbers provided below. We have several
supervisors in the immediate area and will respond quickly to your request.
Damages to property/sprinklers etc.
It is our policy to repair all known damages the same day if possible. Often damages to
sprinklers are not known until the resident attempts to use the system.
Please contact us if you have any damages. If you use our complaint line be sure to leave
both a day and evening phone number so a Supervisor may contact you.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service you receive from my supervisors feel free
to contact the office and ask that [ personally return your call. The quality of service provided by
our firm is very important to me and [ will always be glad to speak with you. Again, thank you
for you patience and tmderstanding during this construction phase of our project.

Dear Resident:

During the past several months, representatives of Verizon have been working in the greater Coppell area
designing and engineering an upgrade to the existing telecommunications system. This upgrade will be in
the form of 'state-of-the-art' fiber optic communications cables and technology installed in the existing
utility easements, road right-of-ways, and alley right-of-ways surrounding the new and existing homes in
the Lewisville service area of Verizon.
Beginning in January 2005 and continuing throughout the year, representatives of Verizon will be
installing this fiber optic technology throughout Coppell including your specific neighborhood area. When
in place, these new telecommunications facilities will allow Verizon to offer you and your neighbors the
following value added services:
· Improved Quality of Service
· Improved network reliability
· High-speed data services to residential and small business customers over fiber
Verizon will be utilizing existing conduits and other existing infrastructure wherever possible. Verizon will
also be utilizing the latest technology that will minimize the required amounts of digging necessary for the
placement of the proposed fiber optic cables. Excavation holes will be opened for locating existing utilities,
connecting the conduit ends, and for subsurface handholes. All excavation will be restored to the original
condition upon completion of the project. The construction process in the specific neighborhoods will be
completed in the timeliest manner in order to have a minimum impact on the specific neighborhood. The
excavation process will involve restoring the ground as quickly as possible upon completion of the intent of
the excavation. The final process of sod replacement shall be completed as the last step in this process.
Please be assured we will do everything to minimize any inconvenience this activity may cause. Please feel
free to contact Klaasmeyer at (972) 874-3917 to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
You may also visit the Verizon Web site at www.verizon.net/fiber for information on products and services.
We at Verizon thank you for the privilege of serving you, our customer, and look forward to providing you
with this new exciting fiber optic service.
Sincerely,
Lynn Pierce

We will soon be involved in a telephone
service improvement project in your
neighborhood, including construction in
public and private right-of-way adjacent to
your property line. This construction, which
will give you and your neighbors better
telephone service, may require us to dig up
certain areas which have been planted.
These areas will be restored by us when the
construction is completed.
