SH 121 Water Line Bore in Coppell

SH 121 Water Line, Coppell
Bore across 121
Fox Contractors informed us that the bore across SH121 did not go as
expected and they plan to re-bore from North to South starting next
week. The existing steel casing will bo left in place rather than
attempt to remove it and grout the cavity.
It is important that the location of the ends of the existing installed
casing bo located and marked on the Record set of drawings so that Tx
DOT knows what is located within their ROW. The ends of the casing
should bo capped and marked for future reference.
As the south end of the bore may need to be relocated to prevent
conflict with the existing casing, coordination of the revised
connection location to the 12" line located along the south of SH121
must be made with the City Inspector, Mr, Larry Davis. All field
changes must be noted on the Record set of drawings.
If there are any other issues adsing out of this misplaced bore,
please bring them to our attention as soon as possible.
