General Partner, Stephen H. Brooks, President
Dear Mr. Toole,
Based on our conversation this afternoon, I know understand the following:
* That Grand/Lakes of Coppell III, a General Partnership, purchased the subject land
from the RTC, with much of it incumbered by a 100 year flood plain designation. This
partnership brought in fill dirt, in order to bring it out of' the 100 year flood plain,
developed the infrastructure and sold the lot, without warranty, to Westchester
Homes.
* That I should not be speaking with Grand Homes, Inc. since Grand/Lakes of Coppell
[II, a General Partnership developed the land.
* That if I had purchased a home that was built by Grand Homes, Inc., then I would be
speaking with you.
* That I should instead be speaking with John Moore, President of Westchester Homes,
who built my house and deal with him.
* That you have not heard from John Moore regarding my situation.
* That you saw no reason for me to meet and discuss this matter with you personally.
* That I should deal only with Mr. Moore regarding what is lef~ of the dirt behind my
house, which at present, is still supporting my foundation. Yet, as of this writing, is
sliding offinto Denton Creek.
I appreciated the opportunity to speak with you over the phone.
