Re: Villages of Coppell III - Lots
along Denton Creek
Dear George:
I represent Westchester Builders in connection with
certain complaints by homeowners who reside along Denton Creek in
the Villages of Coppell III. Some of these homeowners are
contending that slope failure is occurring along the Creek and is
threatening the structural integrity of their homes. For your
information, I am including herewith a copy of a letter addressed
to my client, Westchester Homes, dated May 5, 1995 from Steven
Smith and other neighbors. I am also enclosing a copy of a
letter dated April 27, 1995 from Leslie Mathis to Mr. Stephen
Brooks of Grand Homes. It is my understanding that Grand Homes
was a general partner of the entity that developed the
Subdivision. I am also advised that Ron Reed did some of the
geotechnical work on the Subdivision and that Pat Adkins of
Tipton Engineering was the project engineer. Finally, I am
enclosing a copy of my letter to Mr. Jamie Wall, counsel for
Grand Homes, requesting additional information for your use in
reviewing the situation.
