Re: Slope repair behind homes on Parker Drive
Dear Ken:
As I mentioned to you this week, as described on the two phone messages I left with you, I am
very concerned about the potential slope failure upstream of the repair we are now installing
behind our properties.
When I first reviewed with you three months ago the proposed repair that is now underway, I
conveyed to you my concern as to the repair being vulnerable to eddy erosion upstream from our
northern most property line. Now that our repair is well underway, I can now clearly see the
weak point in our collective fix.
I requested or'you at that time to take this potential failure into consideration during the approval
process of Windsor Estates. Our soil engineer, John Bryant (972-713-9109, Cell 214-207-5980)
performed extensive hydrologic work along the entire cut bank, including Windsor Estate, which
flagged this concern early on. I would suggest that you give John a call as he may have some
suggestions regarding the mitigation of the risk while Kelly Jordan is involved in the development
of the site.
I hope to work with you in addressing this issue.
the alternatives later on.
Please give me a call at your convenience.
