Shohre Daneshmand, Acting City Engineer ~ Proposed Erosion Control Wall - Cottonwood Branch 202 Winding Hollow Lane/Lot 19 - Block 8 DATE: September 5, 1991 I have completed my review of the above referenced project based on the information and documents provided to me by Mr. Robert Van Audenhove of J. R. Knight & Associates (the Contractor). In general, we have no objection to this activity, as long as the following comments are addressed: Smooth transition is recommended between the proposed wall and the earthen channel, by use of materials such as rock-rap or similar material. The existing creek bed and creek slope must be maintained and the fill activity must be kept to minimum, as it may become necessary for proper construction of the wall. Upon completion of this wall, the applicant must office with two (2) sets of as-built plans, registered Professional Engineer and certified by Public Surveyor in the State of Texas. provide this sealed by a a registered The floodplain development permit form needs to be modified and has been returned to Mr. Jan Hansen, P.E. for final revision. The permit number for this project is #910830JH. Attached please find copies of documents, submitted by the contractor, for your files, such as the design plan, letter of recommendation from Mr. Hansen, P.E., the Hold Harmless letter, etc. We have no objection to the proposed erosion control wall and recommend that you consider issuing a permit with a condition that the above documents be provided to engineering department by no later than September 24, 1991.
