Please accept this letter as a letter of recommendation for using
R -Rap Slope Protection to provide soil stabilization and erosion
protection along the stream bank at the subject residence. The
R -Rap system, properly installed, can armor the stream bank,
effectively dissipating stream flow energy and thus significantly
reduce soil bank erosion, and will improve, not impede stream
flow characteristics.
