Item 3.03.C.2.i. on page 11 of 13 in Specification Section 026~,3 requires that the HDPE pipe
be filled with water prior to insertion to prevent the pipe from floating during installation.
This reduces the pulling force required to install the HDPE pipe, and is in accordance with
the pipe manufacturer's recommendations. Therefore, the HDPE pipe shall be filled with
water prior to insertion in accordance with Item 3.03.C.2.i. in Specification Section 026~3.
