The Commission approved funding for this project at their 11-18-99 meet-
ing as part of a supplement to the 2000 UTP. This project now has Priori-
ty 1 status for FY 2003 with funding from Category 4C - STP-MM ($12
million) and Category 12 - ComnUssion Strategic Priority ($28 million).
The current construction cost estimate is $41,350,000 (~0t: including: the
Custer Road Mainlane Ove~ass)~
Additional cost to add mainlane overpasses at cross-streets (allowing

TxDOT's Fort Worth District is including this section of the SH 121 Free-
way in an ongoing MIS, Schematic, and EA consultant contract they have
in the area. The Fort Worth District is working closely with the City of
Grapevine to develop the transportation needs in the area. The following
