II. DENTON COUNTY PROJECTS
A. Section 13: Tarrant County Line to North of Denton Creek (conversion to
freeway)(CSJ 0364-02-017 & 0364-03-064)
1. The Texas Transportation Commission at their July 2001 meeting under
the Innovative Financing Program advanced this project to Priority 1 in
Category 3A - NHS Mobility.

TxDOT's Fort Worth District is including this section of the SH 121 Free-
way in an ongoing MIS, Schematic, and EA consultant contract they have
in the area. The Fort Worth District is working closely with the City of
Grapevine to develop the transportation needs in the area. The following

Public Meeting: Preliminary Schematic and EA findings presented. June 2002 Or

The Public Meeting and Hearing dates have been pushed back to allow the
consultant to address Grapevine and Coppell ramp location concerns.
TxDOT - Fort Worth received the revised traffic counts from Austin on
02-06-02. The Consultant can now proceed with reviewing the Grape-
vine/Coppell ramp revisions. The Dallas District will handle the PS&E
(either in-house or in partnership with Denton County).

Bridgefarmer Design
The Texas Transportation Commission at their July 2001 meeting under
the Innovative Financing Program advanced these frontage road projects
to Priority 1 in Category 3A - NHS Mobility.
These mainlanes will be funded with a combination of local funds and
funding from the North Central Texas Council of Governments
(NCTCOG).
