Dear Mr. Griffin:
The Fort Worth District will be conducting a value engineering study, for the SH 114/121
corridor, during the week of January 24, 2000. The purpose of the workshop is to allow
personnel that have not been directly involved with the Major Investment Study an opportunity
to independently assess the overall effectiveness of the proposed improvements for the corridor.
We cordially invite you or your staff members that have been involved with the MIS technical
committee to attend the presentation that will outline the results of the study. The presentation is
scheduled for Friday afternoon, 1:15 p.m., on January 28. It will be held at the TxDOT Regional
Planning Office, 910-A North Watson Road, Arlington, Texas.
